351. Hale County This Morning, This Evening: a Reinforcement of Stereotypes that Goes Nowhere
Racism begins and ends in the eye of the mind of the beholder… if one stops seeing through that filter, all that is left is people being people. I share why I consider that the documentary Hale County This Morning, This Evening reinforces stereotypes and what I suggest would instead produce more constructive and educational ways to look at the subject.
I didn’t learn much from it, but I share back what I did find more nutritional to watch if one is interested in learning about what is behind racism in the United States of America. Lesson learned: don’t trust the Oscar nomination hype.
