338. The Stereotype of Troubled Artists: What’s the Future?
Sharing my views upon having watched a series of movies about the rather troubled lives of many great artists in the past, seeing the common factors that took their lives to both a path of ultimate self destruction yet of fame and post-mortem unimaginable fortune. My question is: do we need to keep recreating this self-destructive stereotype as creators in reality, or should we change the tide? Yep! Welcome to a new creative paradigm or what it means to me to be a creative human being in the times of today.
Movies I’ve watched – don’t recommend them all, perhaps from best to worst in my humble opinion:
AT ETERNITY’S GATE Trailer (2018) Willem Dafoe Movie
Gauguin: Voyage to Tahiti
My thesis recorded by Gabriel Aceves in spanish: The artist as a social work of art: equality, oneness and human honesty
